Prayer of God’s Love (The Greatest Gift)

Scripture: “And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” (1 Corinthians 13:13)

The bible states that love is greater than both faith and hope. Without love, nothing else matters. It is the opening for every other good thing in our lives. God loves us unconditionally. #GodLivesAndLoves

We thank him for waking us up in our right mind, and we thank him for giving us another day to get it right. Every morning has a new beginning, a new blessing, and a new hope. It’s a perfect day because it’s God’s gift. He pours out His Spirit of peace and joy, but especially His Spirit of love on us every morning whether we choose to keep it in our hearts or not. It is ours for the taking. We thank Him that the power of His love breaks every chain. We ask that he open our eyes to what is around us.  He knows better than any of us just how much strife and sorrow there is in this world. He is the ruler of the land and everything that dwells within it. We praise His holy name, for there is none like Him in all the earth. He created us each uniquely in all shapes and sizes and complexions, and yet in His image and likeness.

Heavenly Father, we ask You to help us all to live in peace and harmony with one another. Remind us that we are all created equally, and we are all children of Your mighty kingdom. Purify our tongues to not speak ill against our brothers and sisters. All bitterness, resentment, hatred, prejudice, malice, jealousy, and pride will flee in Jesus’ name. We will experience Your unconditional love at this very moment and be able to spread it like a wildfire across the nation. Thank You in advance for the open door for souls to come into the Kingdom.

Lord, You have prepared for those who love You such things as surpass our understanding, so I ask that You pour into our heart such love towards You, that we, loving You in all things and above all things, may obtain Your promises which exceed all that we can desire through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

We thank You that You are always thinking about us and we are continually on Your heart. Thanks are offered up that You don’t judge but You come to save us all. We thank You for Your grace and Your mercy, even when we don’t deserve it. You are a great God who has done great things for us, and You deserve all the praise and glory.

A smile, a hug, a word of encouragement, and a helping hand are all little steps toward love; please continually teach us to take those small steps.  Lord, I ask that You would use every part of this prayer to greatly bless everyone who reads it and is seeking You this day. It may not be the way we want it to turn out, but You know the best plan for us. I ask that You cleanse our minds, bodies and souls as we go out to represent You, in love’s purest form. We give You all the glory and honor and praise. We love You. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen
